A message from YOUTH SHRINE BOWL COMMITTEE

The Youth Shrine Bowl Battle of the Border's All-Star Football Game aims to provide a high school-level experience for 70 top middle-school-age football players hailing from South and North Carolina. This platform enables young student-athletes to demonstrate their skills against peers from across the Carolinas. Scheduled for December 21st at Wade Hampton High School in Greenville, SC, this year's game promises an unforgettable experience. Beyond the gridiron, participants engage with peers and coaches from diverse backgrounds, learn about the impactful initiatives of Shriners Hospitals, and gain insights into the world of major football events. It serves as a beacon of inspiration for these aspiring football stars, igniting their ambitions for the future. It's a privilege to collaborate with exceptional youngsters and their supportive families in organizing this remarkable event.

How you can help

The eight annual Youth Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas brings together young football talent from North and South Carolina in a spirited competition. Beyond showcasing their skills on the field against the best from both states, this event serves a noble purpose: supporting the Greenville Unit Shriners Hospital for Children and 21 other Shriners Hospitals nationwide. Held alongside the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas, the all-star high school event, the Youth Shrine Bowl aims to raise awareness and funds for the Shriners' mission in the Carolinas. It represents the culmination of fundraising efforts by six shrine temples involved in organizing the game.

Since its inception in 1937, the Shrine Bowl has raised over $75 million for Shriners Hospitals. Now, the young men participating in the Youth Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas are stepping up to contribute to this cause and are seeking your support.

For those unfamiliar with the invaluable work of Shriners Hospitals for Children, their mission encompasses providing top-tier care to children with various healthcare needs, fostering education for medical professionals, and conducting research to enhance the quality of care and life for children and families. Importantly, this mission is inclusive and extends to all, irrespective of background or financial means.

We deeply appreciate any support you can offer these young athletes as they champion the remarkable work of Shriners Hospitals.

Respectfully,

The Youth Shrine Bowl Committee

A Message From Conlan

Hello everyone, if you are reading this and wondering what is this? Well…
My name is Conlan Elson and I am trying to raise money for the Youth Shriners Bowl of the Carolinas. I was born in Wilmington, NC, I now live in Beaufort, NC where I play football for Beaufort Middle School. I will be starting 8th grade this fall and I am a honor roll student except for 1 C. I was selected to play for the Shriners bowl and I am the only player representing Carteret County. Here are some reasons to donate.
1- The money goes to the kids in the hospital so they can get help and their parents do not have to pay for it.
2- I love football and will get at least 2 touchdowns.
3- I can’t play unless I raise the money, please consider supporting me with a donation of any size.
