MESSAGE from COACH RANDOLPH
I can honestly say that in the middle of COVID, in the middle of getting married, in the middle of moving houses - it has been SOOOOO worth it to change schools in order to pursue teaching and coaching at Rocky River High School. I am looking forward to building a program here and making our Raven Volleyball legacy stronger. This group of girls is going to grow immensely this year. They are coachable, thoughtful, and are constantly learning and absorbing so much feedback.
Coach Moana and I are committed to seeing volleyball knowledge and training develop on the east side of Charlotte. We want these young women to walk on the court confident and knowledgeable about the 2nd MOST POPULAR WOMEN'S SPORT IN AMERICA! There is so much to learn and so many collegiate opportunities awaiting the athletic young women on the east side. We just need to put in the work, the time, and the sweat. The RAVENS would like to expand our training capabilities with new equipment, and we are working hard to open up opportunities for girls to attend tournaments in order to gain better experience for our regular season. This takes fundraising commitment which we cannot do alone.
We have a strong and reliable group of upperclassmen that will provide the leadership and consistency we need for success, and our underclassmen have brought great energy and athleticism to our group. Competing in a highly competitive conference will have its challenges, but our ultimate goal this year is to have a different group of girls by October, girls who are stronger and more confident on and off the court. We believe in the impact that high school sports have on shaping individuals, and we want these young women to have the best high school sports experience they can. We hope you will be a part of that.

GET INVOLVED
We are pushing in the next weeks to reach a really lofty goal. We want to provide our players with the best experience possible. As our athletes are working hard this off-season, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we begin our efforts to create a more competitive program for our young women. The contributions we receive will allow us to cover the cost of additional equipment, new video and technology enhancements, and other general season expenses we will incur. We are trying to raise money specifically for a volleyball film review software that allows us to post up-to-date game stats for those players on their way to recruitment. We already have a player on our roster getting some college looks, and we want to make sure that she has the ability to provide accurate game stats to those college coaches. Here is the general list of items we are raising money to pay for:
- Tournament fees
- Game statistics review software
- Ball cart and game balls
- Plyometrics equipment
- Volleyball net rolling cart
- Setter's target basket
- Passing target basket
While our school and county are very supportive, the majority of our program’s funding will be generated from the players, their parents, and the investment and generosity of Rocky River Ravens volleyball supporters from all over. This supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help establish a stronger tradition with the Rocky River Volleyball Program and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Ravens.

A Message From Rachel Randolph
Are you ready for some RAVENS volleyball? I am! I am looking forward to the chance to put my skills to use on the court this fall on the 2021 Rocky River Ravens Volleyball team. Our high school coaches are working really hard preparing us for this season, and we are learning so much!
One of our first challenges, off the court, is to raise enough money to cover the cost of our season. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $500 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation, I would really appreciate it.
